30 March 2014 | Bedok Reservoir Park

Oh boy, I’m really very slow with editing and uploading my photos!!! And I haven’t had much chance to go explore the past two months, can’t wait to bring my camera out again! I’m pretty convinced that I prefer taking scenery and nature shots because I brought my camera along while cafe hopping (photos in the next post, I hope!) but I didn’t take much photos!

Anyway, for those who’d love to visit a quiet and relaxing place, either alone or with friends, Bedok Reservoir is a good place to check out! It was really hot and sunny when I went, and it was during the period where there weren’t much clouds (so no photos of amazing clouds), but I’ll definitely go there every other day, if not everyday, if I live nearby! It was so quiet and peaceful, it’s one of those places where you could bring tumbler of hot chocolate, iced tea or honey (depending on your beverage preference), and spend the whole afternoon with a good book! If you don’t read, then well, I suppose it’s a good place to catch up and chill with a friend too! Maybe it’s because I’m naturally attracted to oceans, lakes and reservoirs, etc, but I really loved the place!

I’m not sure if I’m just not updated with the things that happen in Singapore, but they have a low rope elements facility at the park!!! I still remember how we had low rope and high rope elements during school camps, and that was definitely one of the highlights of those camps! Saw a couple of families trying out those challenge courses and I was so tempted to join them, but of course I couldn’t since we’d have to pay! 😛

AND THERE’S WAKEBOARDING TOO! Well, I’ve never tried it before, but it’s definitely on my to-do list!!! Managed to capture a few shots of them in action, makes me so eager to try it for myself! But then again, I’ll probably do it overseas since it’ll be cheaper (?) and the area for wakeboarding will probably be bigger too! 😛

I’ve uploaded most of the photos from this adventure here, these photos are also available on my Photobucket, so feel free to check them out! Do share with me if you have any tips or comments, I’ve still got a lot to learn! (:

Panorama

I didn’t managed to get the full panorama shot this time round since it is kind of my first time, but it’s okay, I’ll try again soon!

Till next time,
